The local fire brigade of the Lisohrynivetska rural AH in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast was the first to officially receive the status of an emergency rescue service in Ukraine. From now on the hromada can enter into paid contracts for emergency rescue service delivery, as well as contracts for servicing facilities, located on the hromada territory. It still does not make the firefighting team self-sustained, but allows covering part of the team maintenance costs.
