The total resource of local budgets in 2019 will amount to UAH 573.1 billion, of which own local budget revenues will make up UAH 292.3 billion, which is by more than UAH 41.8 billion or by 16.7% more, compared to the approved local budgets for 2018, commented Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, on the adopted State Budget-2019.

In 2019, the volume of state financial support for the implementation of investment programmes and regional development projects is UAH 30.8 billion (in 2018, similar expenditures are planned in the amount of UAH 25.4 billion). In particular, these are:

• Sector Policy Support Programme - Support to Ukraine's Regional Policy – UAH 0.5 billion;

• SFRD – UAH 7.7 billion (in 2018 – UAH 6.0 billion), including: ensuring implementation of the projects-winners of the All-Ukrainian Public Budget in the amount of UAH 0.5 billion;

• subvention for the formation of the infrastructure of amalgamated hromadas – UAH 2.1 billion (2018 – UAH 1.9 billion);

• subvention for the implementation of measures aimed at developing healthcare system in the rural areas – UAH 1.0 billion (2018 – UAH 1.0 billion);

• subvention for the financial support of construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of public roads of local importance, streets and roads of communal property in settlements – UAH 14.7 billion, which make up 35% of the State Road Fund (2018 – UAH 11.5 billion);

• subvention for the social and economic development of certain territories - UAH 4.8 billion (in 2018 – UAH 5 billion).

And this is not taking into account transfers from the state budget in the amount of UAH 288.3 billion.

Besides, the 2019 State Budget envisages direct intergovernmental relations with AHs, where the first elections took place in 2018, including those where first elections will be held on 23 December 2018.
