The new opportunities and resources received by regions under the decentralisation reform need to be effectively integrated into all sectors of development, and above all, in education, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, speaking with media representatives of the Rivne Oblast.
In the frames of his business trip to the Rivne Oblast the Head of Government visited a new kindergarten and a renovated hub school, that became a large educational complex of the whole rayon.
“It is important that we maximally create conditions for education development,” said Volodymyr Groysman. “When we started our work, the queue in kindergartens was 96 thousand children. And now we have reduced it by almost 60 thousand. We have to provide 100% of places in kindergartens all over the country. We are implementing the New Ukrainian School – a new standard of education – and provide opportunities for higher education development. The reform is gaining momentum there.”
The Head of Government stressed that the task of the authorities at any level is to create an environment for dreams and plans to come true.
