The first meeting of the working group on elaboration of the Regional Development Strategy of the Zhytomyr Oblast by 2027 was held on 3 April.

“The regional development strategy should have several strategic priorities, and at least one of them should be of smart direction. That is, we have to identify the most promising and powerful sphere of economy in our work, and within the framework of the strategy to elaborate a plan of cooperation between the authorities, scholars, business representatives and the public in order to develop this sector to the stage of added value creation,” said Petro Mavko, national expert of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.
