COMPETITION “Small Cities – Great Impressions”: how can hromada participate?

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine is accepting applications for the competition of cultural and art projects Small Cities – Great Impressions” in 2019.


Cultural and art projects submitted by local self-government bodies, legal entities, creative unions, and individual entrepreneurs, will compete for financing:

  1. project implementation period – starting no earlier than 15 July and finishing no later than 20 November 2019;

  2. implementation of the project on the basis of co-financing from the state budget at the level not more than 70% of the total estimated cost of the project, from local budgets and / or from other sources not prohibited by law – at the level not less than 30%;

  3. expected amount of funds from the state budget:

  • for small projects – from UAH 100 000 to 250 000;
  • for medium projects – from UAH 250 001 to 1 000 000;
  • for large projects – from UAH 1 000 001 to 5 000 000.

The total budget of the competition in 2019 will amount to UAH 50 million.

To participate in the competition, the initiators submit applications (as well as other documents – the list is available in Ukrainian HERE) to the Ministry of Culture by 17:59 on 15 May 2019 to the e-mail address of the Organising Group (culture2019@ukr.net) according to the form established by the Ministry of Culture (download).
