In 2019, the process of transferring state-owned agricultural land into communal ownership of amalgamated hromadas will continue, informed the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre.

Today, the territorial bodies of the StateGeoCadastre carry out inventory of state-owned agricultural land according to the relevant order No. 59 dated 21 February 2019.

Upon completion of the inventory, the Department of Land Management, Use and Protection of the StateGeoCadaster will publish a plan of land transfer to amalgamated hromadas. It will include amalgamated hromadas established in 2018. According to the data of decentralisation.gov.ua, there are 141 such hromadas.

It is worth mentioning that last year, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman initiated the process of transferring state-owned agricultural land into communal ownership of AHs. The issue is regulated by the decree No. 60-r of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 31 January 2018.

During last year 1450,8 thousand hectares of agricultural land were transferred to 646 amalgamated hromadas.
