For these reasons, the Sudovyshnianska urban amalgamated hroamda purchased an electronic voting system at their own expense. Along with obtaining the powers and resources to manage hromada’s affairs, new local self-government bodies are trying to streamline their decision-making systems, including collective voting in the city council.
There are 26 deputies in the Sudova Vyshnia city council. Up until now, they have practiced roll-call voting by formulating each issue of the agenda on a separate sheet of paper.
With this in mind, they decided to buy an electronic voting system. It can be installed in the meeting rooms of the rayon, city and oblast councils and avoids difficulties and mistakes during session votes.
The advantages of the electronic voting system are that it instantly registers the deputies present at the session by their names, calculates the results of those voting for / against or those abstained, or counts the votes in several variants of answers, and reports in an easy-to-use form: graphs, charts, tables.
