From 25 to 29 November, six mobile administrative service centres created with the support of U-LEAD with Europe will start operating in six hromadas in different regions of Ukraine. Thanks to the launch of mobile centres, more than two hundred thousand residents of 203 settlements remote from the hromada (rayon, oblast) central settlement will receive quality administrative services near their homeplace.

On Tuesday, 26 November, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm, Alyona Babak, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories, and Stefan Schleuning, Head of Cooperation of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine, will hand over keys from two mobile administrative service centres to the heads of the Mezhivska hromada of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the Dunayevetska hromada of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast.

The presentation of two mobile ASCs will be held in the courtyard of the House of Decentralisation in Kyiv. The presentation will be attended by representatives of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, representatives of the Embassies of EU Member States, management of U-LEAD Programme.

As part of the event, speeches of the high-level guests, key handover to hromadas, and excursion over mobile ASCs are planned.

The Mobile Administrative Service Centre is a special car, fully equipped for two administrators and three visitors, operating in the format of a full-fledged ASC office and providing “one-stop shop” services directly in settlements and villages.

U-LEAD with Europe is an international programme funded by the European Union and its Member States Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Poland and Sweden. The Programme launched the first mobile ASC in Ukraine and scales this type of assistance to more residents in order to provide access to administrative services to as many Ukrainians as possible.
