On March, 30 the Ocheretynska village council and the town of Toretsk in the Donetsk region received two modern mobile Administrative Services Centers (ASCs) for the local inhabitants to be able to get the necessary services quickly and in time.
The mobile ASCs transfer was organised by the UNO development programme within the UNO Programme on restoring peace, funded by the EU.
Thanks to new mobile ASCs the local residents of Toretsk and Ocheretynska hromada will be able to receive almost all administrative and social services. The main objective is to bring services closer to people, living in districts which are far away from stationary ASCs and to vulnerable strata of the population: women, the disabled people, senior citizens, as well as people, living along «the confrontation line».
The coronavirus outbreak in Ukraine taken into account, mobile ASCs will make it possible to avoid crowds of people and to receive the necessary services near the accommodation or at home, not endangering health.
New mobile ASCs will not only extend the territory of service provision for the population of Toretsk and Ocheretynska hromada but also facilitate the creation of integrated systems of providing administrative services in the east of Ukraine.
