«To raise the residents’ decision-making participation level it was decided to introduce the participation budget in the Ivanivska AH. The participation budget (the public budget) is a mechanism allowing the hromada residents to participate in the local budget funds distribution through projects targeted to the hromada development and voting for them. Such an instrument makes it possible to hear about the problems, worrying the hromada inhabitants most of all, and helps to define how effective the local self-government work is in realizing project initiatives», claims Ruslan Shafranovych, the Ivanivska hromada head.
