In 2016 the Skalatska AH in the Ternopil region saved the rayon hospital from closure. The current expenditures on the maintenance of the hospital, employing 120 people, including 25 doctors, do not exceed UAH 1 million per year. This is the amount of money, obtained by the hromada from the hospital as a personal income tax.
