Four years ago the Snovska AH of the Chernihiv region included the rayon hospital in the asset list and since then it has been funding nurses and technical staff salaries. However, the hromada is not going to return the hospital to the rayon, defining its development vector on its own.

“If a hromada is big and has an appropriate budget, to include a rayon hospital in its asset list is quite a reasonable and feasible decision. First of all, one should be aware of the fact that without the hromada support the rayon hospital may be altered, scaled down or even closed down as there will be no other way out if the state budget has no money for its maintenance” -, claims the head of the Snovska AH of the Chernihiv region Oleksandr Medvedyov.
