On November, 3, 2020 the Verkhovna Rada took bill №3651-d on amending some enactments of Ukraine on harmonizing some issues of reorganization and activity of local self-government bodies and rayon state administrations as a basis.

280 people’s deputies voted for this decision. The bill will be prepared for the second reading in a fast-track procedure.

The bill regulates legal succession of communal and state property, budget resources, rights and liabilities, as well as enables newly-elected local self-government bodies to function. It also makes it possible to create rayon state administrations in the new rayons.
