On November, 11, discussion of a draft of a new wording of the law On Local Self-Government in Ukraine, as well as amendments to some other enactments on decentralisation and division of local self-government bodies’ powers, is starting.

The draft has been proposed by the line Ministry and the line subcommittee of the Verkhovna Rada committee.

The discussion will be public with a live-streaming.

The first briefing, aimed at presenting the draft concept and work format, will take place on November, 11 (Wednesday) from 11.00 till 14.00.

The discussion will be held on the basis of a permanently functioning Work group of the Verkhovna Rada Power Decentralisation Implementation Committee.
