Members of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on state power, local self-government organization, regional and urban development have registered the bill on amending the Law of Ukraine On the Order of Calculating Convocations of Local Self-Government Representative Bodies (Councils)» on restoring the unified order of calculation (№ 4414).

The bill suggests establishing demands of restoring the unified order of calculation of convocations of all representative bodies of local self-government bodies (councils) in Ukraine, starting from the 1990 elections. At the same time, according to the bill, representative bodies of local self-government bodies (councils), elected during the regular and the first local elections on October, 25, 2020, shall be considered representative bodies of local self-government bodies (councils) of the eighth convocation.
