Social services and welfare: citizens have to understand their authorities and have money to exercise them, - Vyacheslav Nehoda

Social services and welfare are one of the most important delegated authorities of hromada local self–government bodies. That is why it is vital for them to have a clear list of their functions in the sphere, a step by step algorithm of their fulfillment and funding sources, guaranteed by the state. The appropriate government agencies have to coordinate hromadas and provide them with all the necessary support on the issue.

Such a thought was expressed by Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, during the meeting of the Interagency Committee on Child Welfare on February, 11.
