Since early 2021 all hromadas of Ukraine have equal opportunities and authorities. Thus, finally they can be beneficial subjects of intermunicipal cooperation in different forms, including an agglomeration. That is why it is high time to enshrine issues of urban agglomerations’ establishment and activity in legislation.
It was highlighted by Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, during the round table «Establishing Kyiv agglomeration as a perspective of the capital area development».
