Under the legislation, land usage is paid for in Ukraine. Hromada lands are not an exception. However, both landowners and land users are not always in a hurry to pay a fee for the land, belonging to hromadas. Courts usually take the side of territorial hromadas. But courts continue dismissing local self-government suits and cases are often retried. The material represents a court practice review, related to disputes over the uncontracted hromada lands usage.
