Hromadas have to learn how to cooperate with antimonopoly agencies and apply the antimonopoly legislation for the purpose of achieving decentralization goals. Such an opinion was expressed by participants of the public discussion, entitled «Supporting businesses in hromadas from local budgets», held in the press-centre of Ukraine Crisis Media-Centre.

Brian Kemple, the DOBRE Programme head, emphasizes that cooperation with antimonopoly agencies is a sphere of hromada functioning that needs thorough attention and studying. «The DOBRE Programme, funded by USAID, is able to assist hromadas facing a lot of challenges within decentralisation. We are assisting them in using the opportunities, provided by decentralization, and in clarifying difficult issues. Cooperation with the antimonopoly agencies is such a sphere», – he said.
