A pilot project, aimed at developing the hromadas efficiency assessment system, started by the DOBRE USAID Programme in February, is under way.
On April, 6 the second meeting of the coordinative group took place, where three Sectoral Experts’ Groups work outcomes were represented.
Within a month the Sectoral Experts’ Groups, including line ministries representatives, experts and local self-government representatives, had been developing indicators to assess if services are provided by a hromada efficiently, in toto, and whether citizens are content with them. Based on the consultations results, three services were selected for the pilot phase – waste treatment, drinking water supply and school education.
