The MinRegion will improve the hromadas cooperation mechanism. A draft of such legislative amendments has been publicized by the Ministry for the general public to discuss.

«Hromadas having been established, having deprived of their dependence on rayon councils and rayon state administrations, new opportunities have emerged for hromadas cooperation, gaining more popularity. The tool enables to unite managerial and financial, property resources to implement the projects which are economically irrational for one hromada to cope with. Eventually, hromadas have to learn how to agree with their neighbours and gain maximum results due to efficient usage of budget funds and other resources. Just following the last year local elections almost ninety hromadas have concluded cooperation agreements. We are monitoring the processes and can see what the needs are. That is why we are trying to simplify certain procedures and expand the cooperation entities range», - said Vyacheslav Nehoda.
