The third oblast Olympiad on the local self-government, decentralization and public administration, founded by the oblast council and co-organised by the department for education, science and youth policy of the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast state administration, humanitarian training and public administration institute as well as the teachers’ post graduate institute, has been conducted in the oblast centre.  Pupils of grades 10 and 11 of the oblast schools participated in the olympiad. Six 11-grade pupils, having become the winners, will be entitled to study at the specialty of public management and administration at the humanitarian training and public administration institute at the expense of the oblast budget.
