Decentralisation is a priority for our state. The reform has to be successfully completed as soon as possible. It was claimed by the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov during his address to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Khmelnytskyi on June, 3. The event was headed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, involving the Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, the Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko and representatives of local and regional authorities.

«I’m sure that beyond any doubts for all the present that decentralization is a priority for our state. It is a complicated, political, organizational process, demanding united efforts. I want to thank President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the Government and the Parliament for decisive steps in promoting the reform. With such a considerable internal and external support it is important for us to ensure its successful completion. However, for it to be completed, your support is also necessary. We expect associations of local self-government bodies to actively participate in promoting these changes. And the established Congress of Local and Regional Authorities will become the main forum for all parties’ stances agreement», – claimed Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov.
