Compared to the first quarter of last year, the ASC network at local self-government bodies has increased by 323%. According to the Ministry for Digital Transformation, thanks to that millions of Ukrainians have obtained public services at their settlement for the first time.
ASC transformation within decentralization involves opening new ASCs at the local self-government bodies and liquidating them at the rayon state administrations. The key issue in the process is to ensure the continuity of service delivery and to avoid the “gaps”, with one ASC having already stopped functioning but another one having failed to open.
“Territorial accessibility is a key priority of any service quality criteria. We are working for each Ukrainian’s visit to an ASC to be as easy and simple as going to a supermarket. ASC network transformation is another step on the way to an ambitious aim of the Ministry for Digital Transformation - over 3,5 thousand administrative service access points”, - said Lyudmyla Rabchynska, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
