While implementing decentralisation, the main task for the Government and Parliament is to create conditions for improving services and municipality living conditions, whereas the local authorities and the public have to take advantage of new opportunities, emerging during the reform. Only with joint efforts we can achieve success in developing municipalities and the country in general.
It was emphasized by Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda during the Conference on Democratic Governance 2021. The Conference is a part of the International Republican Institute programme on municipal governance, fulfilled with USAID support.
During the Conference, the seventh wave of the Municipal research by IRI, conducted in 24 towns of Ukraine, was presented.
