Inventory, strategy and plans – the key aspects of municipality activity at the current stage of decentralisation, - Vyacheslav Nehoda

Creating conditions for municipalities, capable of delivering quality services to residents and developing their territories successfully, is what has been going on in Ukraine for the last 7 years within decentralisation. We have already covered most of the way: we have a new administrative and territorial arrangement at the municipality and rayon levels. Moreover, since the beginning of the year all municipalities have been working under equal conditions. It has become possible due to a permanent dialogue of the Government, people'’ deputies with local authorities. The dialogue is continuing and has to be constant.

It was highlighted by Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda during the local municipalities forum, held today in Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson oblast.
