Representatives of line organisations, municipalities and public institutions have discussed how municipalities can develop tourism when the main magnets are managed by the state. The discussion was based on two vivid examples. The Khotyn municipality of the Chernivtsi oblast has succeeded in arranging cooperation with the authorities of the fortress, managed by the state, whereas the Bilovodsk municipality of the Luhansk oblast, having four plants, is going on to search for cooperation tools.
How do the municipalities live now? What are the advantages for the municipalities and tourism development? Is it possible to arrange mutually beneficial tourism around the magnets, not belonging to the municipality?
The discussion final theses are represented in the longread by the Ukraine Crisis Media Centre.
