In 2022 municipalities will get approximately UAH 132 billion, targeted to develop social, communal and road infrastructure. At the same time the State Foundation of the Regional Development will comprise over UAH 5 billion. The funds are envisaged by the Law of Ukraine On 2022 State Budget. It was highlighted by the Minister of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov.

«In 2022 almost UAH 132 billion will be aimed at developing the municipality infrastructure and regional projects. This year the state has provided municipality with sufficient resources for more efficient economy development locally: almost UAH 9 billion for infrastructure project realization as well as social and cultural facilities development, whereas over UAH 24 billion is envisaged for local and communal roads construction and repairs. Thus, it is a call for local self-government bodies to develop bold and innovative projects, assisting in the local budget increase, new jobs creation and economic potential realisation», — emphasized Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov.
