A special working group, including representatives of the MinRegion, associations of local self-government bodies and experts, will prepare detailed recommendations on the Starosta Provision. It was agreed during the working meeting of Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Starostas’ Union – its head Andriy Kuprash and executive director Stanislav Avhust.

«We are ready to draft such a recommendation tool to assist municipalities in eliminating errors, made in starosta provisions and reported by the Starostas’ Association. That will entail legal liability, as it is related to officials of local self-government bodies. It is suggested that representatives of the All-Ukrainian Starostas’ Union, other associations of local self-government bodies and experts should be involved in drafting the recommendations. The joint work will result in a unified recommendation document on the starosta provision, comprehensive for everybody», - said Vyacheslav Nehoda.
