Local self-government transparence: the Parliament has passed in its first reading bill №6401

On February, 15, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved in principle bill №6401 on amending Law On Local Self-Government in Ukraine in terms of ensuring the local self-government transparence.

According to people’s deputy Roman Lozynskyi, the bill author, the document suggests extending the norms concerning local councils and municipality executive committees’ transparence.
