On June 1, during the Ukrainian-Polish intergovernmental consultations in Kyiv as part of the visit of the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, the Joint Declaration on Inter-Municipal and Inter-Regional Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development. The document was signed by the heads of the relevant ministries.

“The signing of the Joint Declaration is an important step in continuing cooperation with Poland. These are new opportunities to forge closer ties between our ministries in key areas of regional development, including the post-war reconstruction of Ukrainian communities. I am confident that this will deepen our inter-municipal and inter-regional cooperation,” said Oleksii Chernyshov.

The Minister also thanked the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki and his government, as well as all Polish people for their continued support and assistance to Ukraine.

Note that on June 1, Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland, together with Oleksii Chernyshov, Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, opened the first modular town for internally displaced persons in the village of Borodianka in the Kyiv region.
