The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and the state of Arizona, US, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

For this purpose, the Kharkiv Oblast was visited by a delegation from Arizona consisting of representatives of the military and defence industry, IT, cyber security and mining companies, research organisations, the chairman of the Committee of the Arizona House of Representatives, the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee, the offices of the governor and senator, the leading law firms of the state.

Yevhen Ivanov, Deputy Head of the Regional Military Administration, held the meeting with the delegation.

According to the website of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, during the meeting, the parties discussed the state’s further participation in the reconstruction of the Kharkiv Region.

The next step is reported to be the signing of the Memorandum on twinning between Arizona and the Kharkiv region.

Participants of the International Summit of Cities and Regions, which was held in Kyiv on April 20 and brought together municipalities from more than 50 countries, declared their readiness to join efforts to help in building a peaceful, democratic and prosperous future, to contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace in Ukraine to ensure international security and stability of the entire world.
