Myrhorod expands cooperation with international partners in healthcare

The Myrhorod City Council has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) as part of the ‘Hromada Reconstruction and Empowerment Facility’ (HREF) Project.

This news was published on the official website of the Myrhorod City Council.

The document establishes partnerships to restore and develop the community, particularly by strengthening medical infrastructure and improving the sustainability of healthcare facilities.

Within the scope of cooperation, two infrastructure projects are being implemented in Myrhorod community:

  • major renovation of the premises of the therapeutic department of the Myrhorod Intensive Treatment Hospital;
  • renovation of the basement premises of the Myrhorod City Centre for Primary Healthcare, which will improve conditions for patients and staff and enhance the security of the facility.

All work is scheduled for completion by December 2026.

Cooperation with the IOM within the framework of the HREF Project is an important step for the community on the way to recovery. It will improve the quality of medical services and create adequate conditions for residents in challenging wartime circumstances.
