The President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, signed the Law “On Voluntary Unification of Territorial Communities”.

The Law No. 157-VIII of February 5 regulates the relations, which emerge in the process of voluntary unification of territorial communities of villages, settlements and cities.

The law includes the principles of voluntary unification of territorial communities, defines the subjects and the key conditions of voluntary unification, and describes the unification procedure for territorial communities of villages, settlements, and cities, as well as the order of provision of governmental support to these communities.
