Over the 11-month period of 2016, the influx of own resources to the general fund of local budgets increased 1.5 times (+ 49,6%) or by UAH 43.7 billion, in comparison with the same period in the previous year, and totalled UAH 132 billion.

The revenues of the general fund of local budgets of 159 amalgamated communities (inclusive of transfers from the state budget) totalled almost UAH 6.3 billion, that is more than six times in comparison with the revenues to the budgets of local councils of the same period in 2015, which councils merged in the amalgamated territorial communities.

Because of the amendments to the tax and budgetary legislation in the context of decentralisation, the influx of earned revenues of local budgets of the amalgamated communities have increased more than three times (by UAH 2 billion) in comparison with the 11-month period of 2015 (from UAH 0.9 million up to UAH 2.9 billion).

This is evidenced by the results of financial analysis of the achievement of revenue targets by local budgets of Ukraine and by 159 amalgamated communities, for 11 months of 2016, which analysis was prepared by the Ministry of Regional Development, in association with the Ministry of Finance and with the assistance of the DESPRO Swiss-Ukrainian Decentralisation Support Project in Ukraine.
