Yesterday, 29 October 2017, the first elections of local heads and members of councils were held in 201 amalgamated territorial communities.
On average, according to the information provided by the Opora non-governmental association, the voter turnout was 48.2%.
According to experts, the elections, in general, were held without any significant infringements, they were competitive and democratic.
