Head of Government advocates change of the land management system

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stands for amendment of land resources management system, particularly concerning the possibility of transferring land management to amalgamated communities. This was stated by the Prime Minister on the air of the channel 112.ua

"What needs to be done – to devolve power for land management to local authorities which were elected. Neither the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (StateGeoCadastre) nor the regional administrations shall be responsible for land management. This ought to be done by the territorial united communities. And the StateGeoCadastre should control this process", stressed Volodymyr Groysman.

The Prime Minister reminded that there is already a practice of allocating land exclusively through auctions. Instead, further changes in land relations are also needed.
