In December 2017, the Ivanivska amalgamated hromada of the Chernihiv Oblast will celebrate its first anniversary after the first elections.

The Ivanivska AH is located very conveniently. On the one hand, it is not far from the city of Chernihiv, and on the other hand, the AH’s villages are stretched along the left bank of the Desna river up to the borders of the Kozelets Rayon. Forests, meadows, fields, picturesque land and archaeological treasures contribute to the tourism potential and create conditions for interesting ideas and initiatives. The first main thing is to have somebody to implement them with, and the second is to know whom to implement them for.

According to the village head Serhiy Harus, the key value of the hromada is its people, and their number is almost six thousand now.
