Reconstruction of schools, installation of children’s playgrounds, arrangement of a town beach. This is a partial list of achievements of the Mlynivska amalgamated hromada for the year of its existence. It is one of the most successful in the Rivne Oblast.

“Mlynivska amalgamated hromada is one of the largest in the Rivne Oblast. In addition to the rayon centre it includes eleven starosta circuits. The former entrepreneur and current AH head Dmytro Levytskyi said that financial possibilities of amalgamation exceeded the expectations.

One of the first implemented projects was a town beach arrangement on the bank of the Mlyniv water storage basin. Later, children’s playgrounds in the amount of UAH 30 thousand were purchased and installed in all hromada villages. Besides, a police station was established in the village of Vladyslavivka.

This is a luxury for the rural area, says Vasyl Tuz, expert of the Local Government Development Centre. Though amalgamated hromadas have such a possibility.

Similarly, we found money for the reconstruction of a boiler room and lavatories in the school of the village of Novoselivka, says Oksana Vorobey, school principal.

The Mlynivska hromada plans to attract investments in the revival of enterprises of the region.”
