Campaigns #IAmNotAfraidToSay and #MeToo that banged about in the network in 2017 and got a lot of publicity in Ukraine and around the world, showed the scale of the current problem, and attracted the public attention to the topics of sexual abuse and harassment tabooed in the Ukrainian society.

On 9 January, the Law “On Prevention and Combating of Domestic Violence” with a number of important norms entered into force in Ukraine.
