Following the initiative of Oleksandr Voloshyn, head of the Konoplyane village council, all pupils of the six schools located on the territory of the amalgamated hromada will receive free hot meals starting from 1 March 2018. The respective decision on the proposal of the village head was unanimously supported by the deputies of the Konoplyanska hromada at the 13th extraordinary session of the 7th convocation, reported the Odesa Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
Currently, 445 children – pupils of the 1st-4th grades and privileged category children – are receiving free hot meals. Starting from March, all pupils from the 1st to the 11th grades will be able to receive free hot meals at the expense of the budget of the Konoplyane village council.
It should be noted that the Konoplyanska AH of the Ivanivka Rayon was established at the end of 2016.
