MinRegion recognised the efficiency of the work of the US Agency for International Development “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (DOBRE) Programme. This is one of the international programmes that supports Ukraine in implementation of the goals of the reform of local self-government and territorial organisation of power, as well as decentralisation of powers.

The results of the programme’s activities over the last year and plans for 2018 were discussed in MinRegion with the participation of the First Deputy Minister Vyacheslav Nehoda and representatives of DOBRE.

It is worth reminding that the DOBRE works in 7 target oblasts: Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Ternopil with 50 amalgamated hromadas. Over time, the programme plans to select 25 more hromadas.
