The Nekhvoroshchanska amalgamated hromada, one of the largest AHs in the Poltava Oblast, began its work on the strategy.
Vadym Shtefan, regional development expert, and Oleksandr Pankov, spatial planning expert of the Poltava Local Government Development Centre (established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion) held the first meeting of the hromada working group. Traditionally, the experts involved AH leadership, representatives of the deputy corps, local business, education and social sectors, and public activists in the work on this document. Representatives of the JV “Poltava Petroleum Company”, which production facilities are located within the village of Sokolova Balka of this AH, should become important participants of the working group.
The Poltava Petroleum Company, Ukrainian-British Joint Venture, has become a budget-creating enterprise in the region, pays large taxes, supports social responsibility, this year has traditionally entered the national ranking of “Top 100 largest taxpayers”. The Poltava Petroleum Company is the largest investment of the UK in Ukraine during the years of independence.
