MinRegion urges construction business to actively cooperate with hromadas

As part of the decentralisation reform, we expect the construction business to participate in four large-scale construction projects in the hromadas: ASCs; New Educational Spaces, Citizens' Safety Centres and Outpatient Clinics. MinRegion has already developed perspective networks for all of these facilities (necessary number, location), as well as Recommendations. We are waiting for the builders’ proposals on modern technologies in construction, as well as direct participation in the projects, stated Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, at the opening of the international construction exhibition InterBuildExpo-2018.

"Last year the revenues of local budgets amounted to UAH 192 billion, and this is, primarily, their development budget. These funds, in addition to state subventions, should be used to build social facilities, ASCs, schools, kindergartens, and develop road infrastructure. And today, all amalgamated hromadas need this infrastructure. Therefore, I urge the construction business to cooperate more with local self-government bodies and heads of AHs in the direction of infrastructure development, as well as vocational training," said Hennadii Zubko.
