The first elections in the Lannivska amalgamated hromada took place less than six months ago, but this promising AH from the Karlivka Rayon has already been actively agitating the neighbouring village councils for voluntary accession. The financial capacity of the Lannivska AH, prospects of leadership’s vision and adequacy of the owners of budget-filling enterprises allow to look forward with hope.
Lannivtsi systematically work with potential starosta districts, since they themselves felt the non-virtual benefits of the decentralisation reform.
An informative and advisory trip was carried out to the Bilotserkivska AH (Velyka Bahachka Rayon) to ensure that representatives of the neighbouring non-amalgamated village councils clearly saw all the advantages and prospects of decentralisation on the example of individual settlements.
The visit took place due to the Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion. The representatives from the Karlivka Rayon – Verkhnya Lanna, Klymivka and Fedorivka village councils – came to one of the leading Ukrainian AHs. They can in the long run join the Lannivska AH.
