This hromada has amalgamated just recently, but today it not only repairing roads and preparing projects for the renovation of schools and kindergartens. The Kamyanska AH has attracted millions for tourism development and is expecting for a reputable investor in future. The participants of the press tour to the Kamyanska AH learned about this and much more.

According to Volodymyr Tiron, head of the Kamyanska AH, the hromada budget is currently UAH 81 million, however, along with the funds, the AH has received more than a dozen of facilities to be maintained – schools, kindergartens, cultural centres, etc. The hromada managed to attract the first serious investor – the Norwegian company Scatec Solar plans to build a 25 MW solar power station in Kamyanka.

The Kamyanska hromada is unique in that, without waiting for the elections, they have already begun working on the project – and we assisted them in this work," says Serhiy Slynko, director of the Cherkasy Local Government Development Centre (established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion). "Today, the AH, along with our experts, has begun elaborating its own development strategy that will help to identify its potential and open up new opportunities for it."
