The infectious department of the Ternopil City Children's Hospital was renovated due to the co-financing of the Ternopil City Council and the State Fund for Regional Development
"Health protection and provision of quality healthcare services to the Ternopil residents are among the priority directions of the city council’s work," said the mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal. “This year one more achievement was the renovation of the infectious department of the children's hospital, where during 2017-2018 we reconstructed the premises of the second floor for an amount of over UAH 1.5 million at the expense of the city budget and with the support of the State Fund for Regional Development. In particular, the wards and corridors were completely renovated, windows and doors were replaced with energy-saving ones, and the staircase was repaired. The renovation of the first floor premises was completed in 2015, at the expense of the city budget."
In 2018, furniture (wardrobes, bedside tables, dining tables, armchairs, etc.) and soft equipment (mattresses, pillows, blankets, etc.) were also purchased for the infectious department at the expense of the funds allocated from the city budget within the framework of the "Health of Ternopil Residents" programme.
