In response to the appeal of local authorities regarding clarification of enactment of decisions of local self-government bodies on setting local tax rates and fees adopted in 2018, the experts of the Financial Monitoring Group of the Central Reform Office under MinRegion (with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme) prepared the relevant information.

It can be concluded that decisions of local self-government bodies on the establishment of local taxes and fees, adopted in 2018, may also come into force in 2018 within the timeframe defined by such decisions.
