The reform starts with changes in minds, believes the Serhiyivska amalgamated hromada of the Hadyach Rayon, that is the most northern AH of the Poltava Oblast. The community is now the most progressive in the Poltava region. At the initiative of Ihor Lidovyi, head of the AH, Serhiyivka, the central village of the hromada, installed new garbage cans for separate garbage collection.
Besides, in May, a brigade of 5 people was formed to carry out the current repair of roads. Since the Serhiyivska AH is located in the floodplain of the Khorol river, extensive land research is being carried out to further clear the river and drain the marshy areas.
From the very beginning of the AH existence, it has been provided with comprehensive and complex assistance by the experts of the Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion. At the end of last year, at its session, the Serhiyivska AH approved the hromada development strategy. The main strategic document of the hromada was prepared under the guidance of Vadym Shtefan, regional development adviser of the Poltava LGDC.
