USAID to announce selection criteria for another 25 hromadas to participate in DOBRE Programme

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will announce the competitive selection of the next 25 hromadas to participate in the USAID “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (DOBRE) Programme on 13 June 2018, at 10:00 in the press centre of the Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre (2, Khreshchatyk Street, Kyiv). Participation in the Programme will help hromadas improve the quality of public services, stimulate the local economy, fight corruption, and improve the opportunities for people’s involvement in hromada development.

Vyacheslav Negoda, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, Barry Reed, USAID DOBRE Programme Director, Oleksandr Korinnyi, head of the Novoukrayinska AH and head of the Association of Amalgamated Hromadas of Ukraine, and Hennadii Sumskyi, head of the Tsarychanska AH, are invited to participate in the event.
